'Sons Of No One' Starring Katie Holmes And Al Pacino Bombs At Sundance

Katie Holmes, Al Pacino Film BOMBS

It was not a happy dance for the star studded cast of this film.

'Sons of No One,' the new thriller starring Channing Tatum, Al Pacino and Katie Holmes, bombed in front of an important audience at the Sundance Film Festival on Monday. The Hollywood Reporter, there on the scene, reports that executives from nearly every major studio -- Samuel Goldwyn, Paramount, Summit, the Weinstein Co., Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group, IFC Films, Morgan Creek, Screen Media, Miramax and Relativity -- were on hand to see the failure.

In fact, THR reports, some had even left the theater before the film finished.

'Sons of No One' is a genre piece, whose synopsis reads:

Son of No One is a police thriller that centers on a young cop (Channing Tatum) who is assigned to a precinct in the working class neighborhood where he grew up, with an old secret surfacing and threatening to destroy his life and family.
