The Southern Lights From Space: Flying Over The Aurora Australis On The ISS (VIDEOS)

WATCH: Flying Over The Southern Lights

The Earth is glowing.

Following a stunning time-lapse from the International Space Station that encompassed almost all of the Americas, another stunning video from the ISS has appeared on YouTube comprised of still images from when it flew over Australia on September 11. As if the Southern Lights phenomenon wasn't incredible enough to see from the ground, it takes on a whole new form from overhead.

In a similar fashion to the previous video, this one, which was posted by YouTube user JMajorLITD, essentially stiches together a number of photos taken from the station to create a unique, moving view of the light.

Back in July, the ISS got this great glimpse of the Aurora Australis during the final space shuttle mission. The new video is a bit more active, however.
