Sphynx Cat Not Ready For Its Closeup At International Cat Show (PHOTOS)

Why It's So Easy To Hate Cats

Felines flaunted their stuff at an international cat show in Lithuania this weekend, but one very expressive kitty happened to catch our attention.

This jittery Sphynx cat doesn't seem too keen on the extra attention, and it's not afraid to show it.

Poised to pounce (or scratch), the feline shoots an angry look at the photographer. But hey, we get it. Sometimes stress can get the best of you.

Usually inquisitive by nature, Sphynx cats have made appearances on several television shows, including "Friends" and the "Real Housewives of New Jersey," where Dina Manzo affectionately calls her kitten "Grandma Wrinkles."

And though some people are put off by the cat's bare exterior, Sphynx make superior show cats and are desirable to breeders, according to the Cat Fanciers' Association.

Millions of dogs and cats enter animal shelters every year, according to the ASPCA. About 70 percent of those cats are later put down.

To adopt a cat in need, visit Petfinder.com or ASPCA.
