Not all heroes wear mask, but sometimes they do. Meet Ricky Mena, the man behind Heart of a Hero and organization with the goal to “Inspire, motivate and empower children who need it most.”

One of the most wonderful and beautiful aspects of a child's mind is their ability to believe via their imagination. For children who battle life threatening illnesses, who are fostered, special needs and or homeless, introducing a hero could very well spark enough hope to get them through the darkest moments of their lives.
