'SpongeBob' Fans Will Love This Pineapple-Shaped Villa In Punta Cana

We're ready, we're ready, we're ready!

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

Not you, obviously. You’re not SpongeBob SquarePants; you’d drown! But if you’d like to give a pineapple above the sea a chance, there’s one waiting for you in the Dominican Republic.

Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts in Punta Cana has a larger-than-life replica of SpongeBob’s Bikini Bottom abode. And boy is she a beaut.

The 1,500-square-foot vacation villa has two bedrooms, three bathrooms and an infinity pool. Visitors can hang in the foyer with pet snail Gary, place calls on their shell phone, or lounge in the loft-style living room.

The villa is staffed by private butlers who can arrange “tailor-made private activities such as a moonlight beach dinner prepared by a world-class chef,” according to the resort’s website. As long as the dinner is Krabby Patties and the chef is SpongeBob, consider us sold.

Unfortunately, the pineapple life ain’t cheap. The villa runs upwards of $3,800 per night, and there’s a three-night minimum stay. So if you’re currently showering in money a la Mr. Krabs, this might be the perfect vacation rental for you and your kids.
