WHY: In celebration of Peter Fetterman Gallery's 20 year anniversary, they're exhibiting a true innovator of photojournalism and black & white photography. Henri Cartier-Bresson's photographs have been celebrated by some of the world's most prestigious galleries, museums, art scholars, and novices. This exhibition spans an array of his most beautiful photographs from various points in his career, from more romantic images of ballet dancers and family gatherings to photos taken of children in Sarajevo and men in some kind of trouble in Belgium.
