Good news for anyone who's got an extra $30 million laying around! The last private residence at the former Stanhope Hotel is up for grabs and it features a staggering 14 rooms, 10-foot ceilings, and sweeping views of Central Park.
Originally designed by famed architect Rosario Candela, the Stanhope Hotel has since been remastered with all kinds of amenities including a gym and billiards room. Interior designer Felicia Zwebner headed the redesign and detailed:
My inspiration in designing this space came from the fact The Met is right across the street. In keeping with the building’s history and architecture the design is a mix of classical and modern elements. The goal was to create a chic, sophisticated lifestyle that is worthy of large entertaining but still feels like a home.
