Get Ready To LOL At This 'Force Awakens' Trailer With Jar Jar Binks

Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, C-3PO: All are returning to the big screen on Dec. 18 in "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens." Even Luke Skywalker is back, despite the fact that we haven't seen Mark Hamill's face in any of the trailers, and know almost nothing about his role in the new movie.

But Jar Jar Binks? Fat chance. The goofy, borderline offensive character, who made his debut in "The Phantom Menace," is almost universally regarded as the worst thing ever to happen to "Star Wars." J.J. Abrams has said that the only way he would put Binks into into the movie is as a pile of bones baking in the desert sun.

On the other hand, Abrams has a history of misdirection about the plots of his movies. So maybe he's lying! What would that be like? Watch the hilariously edited version of the most recent "Episode VII" trailer above to find out. Look out, too, for a couple of cameos from Jake Lloyd's young Anakin Skywalker.
