May the force be with these "Star Wars"-obsessed newlyweds!

Canadian couple Chris and Janice Bold married on May 4 -- which many celebrate as "'Star Wars' Day" or "May the fourth be with you" after the movie's iconic line, "May the force be with you" -- in a "Star Wars"-themed ceremony, Vancouver newspaper The Province reported Sunday.

Chris dressed as a stormtrooper while Janice wore a Princess Leia cape, and Chris' groomsmen wore Chewbacca and Darth Vader costumes. The flower girls dressed as Princess Leia and the officiant wore a brown Jedi robe.

The ceremony space was decorated with small statues of Yoda, Wicket the Ewok and Boba Fett, and the couple said their vows in front of a giant photo of R2D2 and C3PO.

As unusual as the Bolds' wedding may seem, "Star Wars"-themed weddings are nothing new. Couples from Norway to Australia have taken inspiration from the Galactic Empire for their nuptials.
