Starbucks' Red Holiday Cups Look A Whole Lot Different This Year

Mmmm. 😊

If you like your coffee black, evidence shows you may be a psychopath. But even the Scroogiest of Scrooges positively melts at the sight of a Starbucks red holiday cup.

Starting Nov. 1, the Starbucks red cups are back. And trust us, their design is more elegantly beautiful than ever:

The cups -- which will house tried-and-true holiday drinks like the Peppermint Mocha and Chestnut Praline Latte, along with a new drink called the Holiday Spice Flat White -- feature a red ombré design, as opposed to the busy doodles and kitschy quotations of years past.

The idea was to give people a piece of calm during the hectic holiday season, according to Starbucks VP of design Jeffrey Fields.

"Starbucks has become a place of sanctuary during the holidays," he said in a company statement. "We're embracing the simplicity and the quietness of it."

The sneaky way to get free Starbucks every day, however, is nothing to be quiet about:
