Digital video is poised for a "big year" says Amanda Richman, President of Activation and Investment at the giant global media agency Starcom, in this interview with Beet.TV

She says that Internet-connected TV's will be widely used as will "second screen" tablets and other devices.

As technology evolves so will the role of media agencies who will be taking the lead in creating new advertising platforms in emerging media, not "retrofitting" what consumer electronics companies are bringing to market.

In the interview, she give a preview of next week's CES and some of the emerging themes which she says will include an emphasis on cloud delivered media via multiple devices.
