When lawmakers descended upon the Capitol for the State of the Union, HuffPost asked the real question on everybody's minds: How would they spend $1.5 billion in Powerball winnings?
From going skiing to donating to charity, members of Congress couldn't quite decide what they'd do if they won all that money.
Rep. Pete Sessions (R-Texas) told a HuffPost reporter he'd pay to send the two of them to the Caribbean together.
Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) said he'd pay the next month of his son's tuition.
But for Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) the answer was clear: "I don't run for president."
He added, "I won $12. Well, I spent $50, so I’m still $38 in the hole."
