ATC: STEM Trifecta

STEM is not just the future, it is now. A school in Virginia Beach is taking hands-on education to the next level using science, technology, engineering, and math to provide real world experience. The students of ATC, spend an entire year honing their skills in robotics, engineering, cyber security, and 3D printing culminating in a single challenge, The STEM Trifeca.

The Office of Technical & Career Education (TCE) in Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) provides elementary, middle, and high school students with unique, hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) activities that expand students' educational opportunities. The STEM Trifecta is an initiative created by TCE that allows our students, teachers, mentors, administrators, and industry and community partners to join together to create and promote STEM and Entrepreneurship awareness through project-based learning activities.
