Stephen Colbert announced Tuesday evening on "The Colbert Report" that he will host a concert extravaganza aboard the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum in New York on August 10.

The "StePhest Colbchella ‘012: Rocktaugustfest" will feature musical performances from The Flaming Lips, fun., Grandmaster Flash, Grizzly Bear, and Santigold.

Colbert addressed The Nation on Tuesday and said, "We are gonna rock the boat, which won't be easy because the Intrepid displaces 41,434 tons. Does Bonnaroo have cruise missiles? I think not."
