Steve Martin's Baby: Actor Becomes A First-Time Dad At 67

Steve Martin has become a first-time dad at 67.

According to the New York Post, Martin and his wife of almost six years, Anne Stringfield, 41, welcomed a baby in December. The couple was allegedly spotted outside of their Los Angeles home with their brand-new bundle of joy.

UPDATE: Martin's rep released a statement saying, "We can confirm that Steve Martin and his wife are new parents and recently welcomed a child."

“They’ve had a baby, and how they kept it a secret nobody knows," a source told the NY Post, adding that “Steve’s very private."

"They are thrilled," the insider continued, "They worked hard to have the baby.”

Martin and Stringfield were together for three years before they tied the knot in a secret wedding ceremony in July 2007. Guests, including actors Tom Hanks, Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy, were invited to Martin's house for a party, but the pair surprised them all with the ensuing nuptials.
