Steven Tyler and his fiancee, Erin Brady, have split.
Tyler and Brady have broken up after getting engaged last year, the New York Post's Page Six confirms. "It's over for good this time," a source told the paper.
"Steven was just not that nice to her in the end," the Page Six source added. "His family and entourage never really accepted her and she can do better." The source continues, "They're still friendly but they're going their own ways. The engagement is off."
Tyler was spotted vacationing in Hawaii for New Year's, but his fiancee was nowhere to be seen. His children went to support him while he performed in Maui at a charity event hosted by Alice Cooper, even though Maui is where he popped the question during a Christmas vacation in 2011.
The Aerosmith rocker's engagement surprised his family and they didn't approve of his fiancee, whom he started dating in 2006. "They didn't like Brady. She's just not nice," a source told TMZ in 2011. "She's just been mean to the family."
Tyler seemed ready to settle down with Brady. In a 2011 interview, the 64-year-old expressed remorse for his womanizing ways. "I don't want to hurt anybody again," he said, while holding hands with Brady, during a sit-down with Oprah Winfrey. "For all the divorces I've had, I've hurt those girls deeply. There was some behavior that I'm ashamed of and I shouldn't have done."
He was previously married to Cyrinda Foxe from 1978 to 1987, and Teresa Barrick from 1998 to 2006.
