I have a question for anyone who supports Bernie's so-called endorsement of Clinton. Do any of you think that Bernie Sanders could have built this national political movement if his supporters had known he would endorse Hillary under any circumstances?
Bernie Sanders entered the race for President in April of 2015. Trump entered two months later. Obviously, Bernie's reason for running had nothing to do with defeating Trump. He entered the race, supposedly against Hillary and the establishment politics she represented.
Now, we are supposed to believe that it was all theater and the new villain is Trump. Now, we are told to ignore everything that happened in the past year, from voter suppression to outright voter fraud which culminated in the total debauchery of the New York and California primaries.
This endorsement has made a laughing stock out of millions of first-time participants in the political process.
If a sinister force had wanted to devise a way to prove without doubt that no one in politics can be trusted, this would have been the way to do it.
If a sinister force had wanted to totally demoralize a new generation of young people, this would have been the way to do it.
If the establishment wing of the Democratic party had wanted to come up with a plan to convert the energy of a movement into room temperature-entropy, this would have been the way to do it.
Worst of all, if Donald Trump had wanted to devise a plan to attract disgruntled democrats, independents and first-time voters to his side, this would have been the way to do it.
So, where is the future we can believe in?
