Stimulating Art at the Herb Alpert Foundation

Herb Alpert is a pretty amazing guy. Not only did he have a an album cover which every teenage boy in American coveted, plenty of hits, but he produced great artists and founded (and sold) A&M Records. He continues to record and perform with his wife Lani Hall; and they are major philanthropists, through the Herb Alpert Foundation.

On Friday, I'm going to attend the Herb Alpert Foundation's 22nd annual awards where they will present this year's five grantees, each of whom will be awarded $75,000 in the categories of Dance, Film/Video, Theatre and Visual Arts.. I'll reprot more on the awards and awardees later but here is a video from the Foundation about their work:
