Stink Different: Apple MacBook-Scented Perfume Created By Australian Artists

Would You Wear Eau De Apple?

There's nothing quite like the smell of a brand spanking new Apple MacBook Pro.

Now, a trio of Australian designers known as "Greatest Hits" have created a perfume intended to smell like a new Apple Macbook, CNET reports.

Dubbed "Stink Different," the Melbourne based artists teamed up with fragrance design agency Air Aroma to create the unboxing scent, according to Cultofmac.com.

After tinkering with the smell of glue, plastic, rubber and paper, the company engineered the final product with the help of suppliers in southern France.

Though the aroma will be on display at the Melbourne West Space exhibition from April 20 to May 12, Air Aroma said in a blog post the signature scent won't be for sale.

Stink Different isn't the first unusual scent to come out from down under. Last year, Australian body architect Lucy McRae revealed she was collaborating with scientists to develop an edible perfume to enable the human skin to emit a genetically unique scent.
