Who:
Lesley Gore
Where:
327 Bowery, New York, NY
When:
November 18, 2013
What:
I *may* have been crying when I took this photo but so was everyone else in the room. Lesley Gore closed out the star studded benefit, "Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can Choose" with her song, "You Don't Own Me". The whole thing ended in cheers and tears and a standing ovation. (Side note: that's Natasha Lyonne and Yael Stone watching on the right.)

Hosted by Sarah Silverman and LIzz Winstead, with music by Dave Hill, stand up by Dean Obeidallah, Amy Schumer, John Fugelsang, Phoebe Robinson and more, and cameos by Emily Mortimer, Jemima Kirke, Katherine Moennig, and an entire cell block from Orange is the New Black, the online telethon raised $50,000 for Texas women.
