This time last week, the world was relatively unaware that Beyoncé would "pull a Beyoncé" and crash Channing Tatum's "Lip Sync Battle" performance.
Near the end of Tatum's rendition of "Run the World (Girls)," Queen Bey and her crew stepped onstage and brought the whole house down. But, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Beyoncé committed to the role only the night before -- and hadn't even rehearsed the bit with Tatum.
"That moment on air, that's the first time they ever met," said executive producer of the show Casey Patterson to THR. "He's dressed as her, dancing and singing to her song. We were just hoping he would keep dancing."
And oh, did he keep dancing! Tatum managed to hold his steely, Sasha Fierce gaze until the very end.
Relive the magic by re-watching the entire performance below:
The incredible episode (including a few amazing performances by Jenna Dewan Tatum) ending up setting a Spike ratings record with 4.7 million total viewers.
But of course, that makes sense, because everything Beyoncé touches turns to ratings gold.
