Studio 54 opened its doors for "One Night Only" on Tuesday and celebrities from Cameron Diaz to Clive Davis came out for the special event hosted by Sirius XM.

The event celebrated 70's dance club culture and featured "authentic, over-the-top details that helped define the Studio 54 experience, including the famed theatrics, backdrops, aerialist performers and dancers."

The legendary club, which once attracted the likes of Andy Warhol and Diana Ross, transformed into a Broadway theater in 1988 for the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of Cabaret.

Kevin Bacon discussed the club's allure from back in the day to Entertainment Tonight:

I started coming here when I first moved to New York. I remember standing right out here and hoping I would get pick,' the actor revealed to Entertainment Tonight. 'I was just a kid. I came here all by myself, and danced by myself and had a great time.'
