Proving you don't have to have matching dresses as sisters to have a complementary look, choose a common color like Pantone's color of the year Rose Quartz, here done with retro flair. Artsy tropical prints offset by military-inspired boots and a mod dress-coat set in jacquard polka dots, offer a timeless throwback to the 60s.

Embracing spring trends like stripes and embroidery can lay the foundation for an Easter ensemble that's fresh and unexpected. Don't be afraid to pair stripes with bold colors: two statement prints can really add zing! For a girl, add fun hair accessories and hairstyling. Embroidery really elevates a plain white shirt for boys, especially when paired with cool accessories like a color-washed Fedora and poppy-orange shoes.

Shorts get dressed up to make them perfectly Easter appropriate. Belted shorts topped with a vest makes for a sharp, little-man look. Don't forget the bow tie and chambray sneakers--the latter he can wear to school after the holiday. A girl's romper gets a touch of softness with a felt fedora, a fringed necklace and laced-up gladiator boots adorned with blossoms.

Bold plaids in bright colors are a harbinger of spring, here topped with a sunny-yellow cardigan (a red-carpet color trend) and an anorak for a polished finish. Playful footwear in the form of white strappy sandals and tropical slip-ons make these two ready to begin their egg roll!

For tweens, some exciting new options in suiting separates. Consider sweater blazers for boys that offer relaxed comfort and soft structure, paired with a sleek, collarless striped shirt atop pressed khakis. To complete our garden theme, florals of every kind abound from big blooms to prairie prints. Here, a botanical flower dress done in pretty pastels perfectly captures the holiday, offset by bold accessories.
