Subway Employees Make Fun Of The Jared Scandal On Store's Menu

All across America, Subway employees have had to figure out how to deal with Jared Fogle's face still being featured on menus, despite the spokesperson's recent suspension.

One Subway found the perfect solution in a simple "brown paper towel."

Although Fogle has not been charged with a crime, as the raid of his Zionsville, Indiana, home was for child pornography and led by Indiana's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, his smiling face is currently an uncomfortable presence among Subway's other offerings, such as "sandwiches," "cookies" and, recently, "guacamole."

The search of Fogle's home follows a child pornography scandal in May that involved the executive director of Fogle's Jared Foundation.

Subway employee and Reddit user, arcanine66, posted the picture late on July 8. Due to the media attention the Fogle investigation is getting, the photo has already reached over 1 million views.

In the comments section of Reddit, arcanine66 explained his stance on the investigation and how the joke came about:

"Disclaimer I DO NOT THINK HE IS GUILTY I just work at subway and thought this was funny," said arcanine66. "He is innocent until proven guilty."

The user also said, "I laughed my ass off though when I clocked in and saw that."

HuffPost reached out to the Reddit user, but did not hear back at the time of publication.

Smartass line.
