For a long time Nevada chicken barter lady Sue Lowden enjoyed a modest lead in the race to be the GOP nominee for the Senate seat currently occupied by Senator Harry Reid (D-Nev.). But she's stumbled of late -- probably because she's now most closely associated with chicken barter -- and now faces a renewed threat from fellow contender and Palinista Sharron Angle, who this week earned the endorsement of the Club For Growth.
So, Lowden has turned on Angle, and has dropped a new ad that asks voters to examine Angle's record. The results of the Lowden examination include the fact that she voted to raise her own pay on two occasions while she was in the state legislature which, I know, is shocking. Also? There's something about prisoners getting taxpayer-funded massages from Scientologists!
Now that is a little bonkers-sounding! Of course, we remind you, this is Nevada, where I'm pretty certain you can order a sexxy-Scientology happy ending from the room service menu at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. (Tell them I sent you!)
