A Sugar Glider In Slow-Mo Will Show You Just How Skilled These Cute Marsupials Are

WATCH: Cute Marsupials Parachute Through The Air... In Slow-Mo

Sugar gliders are more than just painfully adorable -- they're also incredibly skilled jumpers. In fact, these small marsupials native to Australia can leap as far as half a football field.

What does such a feat look like up close? See for yourself in a breathtaking new video from Earth Unplugged (above), which shows the furry creature's gliding skills in stunning slow-motion.

(Story continues below.)

"They can jump from tree to tree and glide up to 50 meters," Sam Hume, an assistant producer at BBC Earth, says in the video. "That's mainly thanks to this incredibly loose membrane between their legs."

Impressive.
