Police said more than 50 rounds were fired during a triple shooting at a Super Bowl party in the shadow of Sun Life Stadium.

"This drive-by stuff has just got to stop," Edwina Howard, whose daughter was throwing the party, told NBC6. "It's just so crazy."

A man identified as Brandon Bryant was dead on the scene, just steps away from the host's house at 23rd Court and 204th Street in Miami Gardens, across a canal from the Miami Dolphins' darkened home.

WSVN reports Bryant's father and older brother were also wounded in the barrage of gunfire, and whisked to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Miami Gardens Police Chief Ralph Suarez said one of the men is in critical condition.

"It looks at this point like a drive by shooting but it looks like there were intended targets," said Chief Suarez. "By the looks of the evidence on the scene, we have over 50 rounds that were shot."

Those at the house told reporters Bryant was the father of two children; NBC 6 reports their mother could be seen sobbing in a car nearby.

The party was intended to be a night of fun watching the Ravens and 49ers face off in New Orleans, Howard explained.

"I just feel feel bad for the mothers," she said. "Everyone was just trying to have a good time."

The shooting wasn't the only gunfire in Miami overnight; police said one man was killed and a woman wounded when a person pulled up to their Northwest Miami-Dade home and opened fire.
