We all know puppies are small and adorable, but this little gal is something else.

Angel the Yorkshire terrier weighs in at just 163 grams, about the weight of an average banana. The pup was born in a litter of much larger siblings about five weeks ago, according to owner Kim Passero, who said she plans to keep her as a companion.
A local veterinarian said the newborn could be on track to claim the title of World's Smallest Dog, currently held by a Chihuahua in Puerto Rico. However, a dog needs to be at least a year old to qualify for the title, according to the Toronto Star.

Passero said Angel's mouth is too small to suckle from her mother, so she needs to be hand-fed with a spoon or syringe.
“Oh my gosh, she gets soaked,” Passero told the Star. “I have to clean her, and then I blow dry her on low because she shakes, she’s so cold, poor thing. She likes it though, she lies on her back.”
If you're looking for a companion of your own and are ready for the responsibility, take a look at the ASPCA adoption site or Petfinder.com. And remember, puppies are definitely adorable, but plenty of older dogs need loving homes too.
