The Time Is Meow! 'Super Troopers 2' Is Filming

Meow we're talking.

Break out the nice liter-a-cola! Team Ramrod and the rest of the troopers are reporting for duty.

As announced on the Broken Lizard Facebook page and reported by Deadline, filming on “Super Troopers 2” has officially started outside of Boston. Broken Lizard is the filmmaking team behind the original “Super Troopers” in 2001.

“Action, chickenf**ckers,” wrote Broken Lizard in the post.

Following a successful Indiegogo campaign, which raised around $4.5 million for the film’s budget, the whole Broken Lizard team has assembled for more. Mac (Steve Lemme), Thorny (Jay Chandrasekhar), Rabbit (Erik Stolhanske), Foster (Paul Soter) and, yes, even Farva (Kevin Heffernan) are back. So get ready for some ... uh ... what’s that word?

Lemme’s even been sharing some behind-the-scenes pictures to check out while you’re waiting for your mustache to grow in.

As the film’s poster says, the time is meow!
