Suspect Nabbed In Viral Video Attack On Chinese Food Delivery Man

The alleged attacker is only 13.

The teen who allegedly attacked a Chinese food delivery man in a viral video has been caught, the New York City Police Department told The Huffington Post.

On Tuesday morning cops arrested and charged a 13-year-old with robbery in the third degree, an NYPD spokesman said.

In a clip (watch above) that stoked outrage on social media after it was posted by Mediatakeout, the teen can be seen tormenting the delivery man. He pushes the 38-year-old victim to the ground, then rips the food out of the man's hands. Egged on by onlookers, the teen kicks a container before the man retaliates with three punches. The confrontation was then broken up.

Police say the incident happened at an East Harlem housing project at around 7:15 p.m. on Nov. 26.

"The victim suffered pain and bruising but was not hospitalized as a result of this incident," the spokesman said.

Police say the teen took food and fled on foot.
