(NEWSER) – If hacking is a form of flattery, Kate Middleton ought to be red-faced. Former News of the World royal editor Clive Goodman admitted hacking the phones of British royals today, telling the court that the now-duchess was first targeted in 2005 as "a figure of increasing importance around the royal family." And it wasn't just casual interest, reports the BBC: Goodman admitted hacking Middleton's phone some 155 times; that compares to 35 times for Prince William, and just nine for the apparently ragingly dull Prince Harry.
