Tamala Jones And Sarah Shahi Come Out As Gay Allies

GLAAD recently propelled its "Coming Out For Equality" public service announcement series in support of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. Now "Booty Call" and "Two Can Play That Game" actress Tamala Jones is lending her voice to the conversation.

"I tend to have strong opinions," the sassy actress says in the PSA. "Who am I to decide how others should live their lives? For me, it's not a partisan issue. It's a human rights one and I believe everyone should be equal."

Jones currently stars on the ABC television show "Castle." Check out her message above.

No stranger to the LGBT community herself, "The L Word" star Sarah Shahi also joined the initiative.

"So my views on equality are pretty obvious. I mean I did play a highly complex lesbian techno DJ on TV, but I know it's not always easy to come out and tell the world where you stand," the starlet, who played Carmen de la Pica Morales on "The L Word," says. Check out her message below.

Actor Jackie Chan also lent his voice to the PSA series.
