Disney's 'Tangled' Is Becoming A TV Show

If you loved Disney's "Tangled," then you're in luck.

Disney Channel announced on Wednesday that the 2010 animated film will become a TV series. Mandy Moore will return to voice Rapunzel on the small screen, alongside Zachary Levi, who voiced Flynn Rider (aka Eugene).

"Tangled" the show will be set between the events of the movie and the 2012 short sequel, "Tangled Ever After," which followed Rapunzel and Flynn Rider's wedding. The series will follow Rapunzel as she acquaints herself with her parents, her kingdom and the people of Corona. Before her wedding in the short, the series will show the princess setting aside her crown and marriage in order to go on new adventures.

Eugene will follow Rapunzel on her excursions, along with sidekick Pascal, Maximus the horse, the Snuggly Duckling pub thugs and new character Cassandra, a handmaiden. The series will also feature music from Academy Award-winning Disney composer Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater.

"Tangled" will premiere in 2017 on Disney Channel.
