Taylor Radig, Animal Rights Activist Arrested After Exposing Cruelty, Speaks Out (VIDEO)

Farmer, Animal Activist Continue The Debate Over 'Ag-Gag' Laws

Following Idaho Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter's signing of a bill that imposes jail time and fines for animal rights activists who take undercover footage at Idaho facilities, several people spoke with HuffPost Live to discuss animal abuse and the merits of such "ag-gag" laws.

Animal rights activist Taylor Radig, one of the guests on this HuffPost Live segment, discussed how she was charged for animal cruelty in 2013 after failing to hand over undercover footage of abuse at a Colorado company in a timely manner. When asked if the company was charged, Radig said that three employees were charged with animal cruelty, but the company was not. The charges against Radig were later dropped.

"It's really important to note that kicking an animal, dragging them by their tails and limbs, pushing them and slamming them into trucks is wrong. Bottom line, it's wrong," Radig said.
