Taylor Siders Missing: Police Search For Missing Teen (UPDATED)

Police in West Virginia have issued an urgent appeal for information about Taylor Siders, a missing teenage girl from Hurricane, a city in Putnam County.

UPDATE: According to family members Taylor Siders has been found safe.

ORIGINAL:
Taylor Siders, 16, was last seen Thursday leaving Hurricane High School in a green, late-model Honda Accord with Florida plates.

Siders is believed to be in the company of Daniel Alexander, a 22-year-old Hispanic male from Florida. Siders reportedly met Alexander online. The pair may be headed south to Jacksonville or St. Augustine, Fla.

Contacted by The Huffington Post Friday, Siders' mother, Misty Martin, declined to comment on her daughter’s disappearance.

“We absolutely want to but we're instructed by the FBI not to do that right now,” Martin said before hanging up.

Taylor Siders is described as a white female, 5-foot, 4-inches tall, 120 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hurricane Police Department 304-562-5945 or West Virginia State Police at 304-586-2000.
