Taylor Swift Doesn't Buy Homes Near Every Boy She Likes, Apparently

The tabloids started these weird rumors -- and they're making her see red.

We've all done crazy things in the name of love -- although some we aren't exactly proud to admit. And Taylor Swift is no exception to that.

Swift, who covers the lastest issue of Vanity Fair, is fighting back against rumors that she buys a home every time she has a new significant other. "People say that about me, that I apparently buy houses near every boy I like—that’s a thing that I apparently do. If I like you I will apparently buy up the real-estate market just to freak you out so you leave me,” she told the magazine.

Apparently this notion is particularly bothersome to the singer, as she told Spanish television show “El Hormiguero" back in January the same exact thing. "People say that I’m buying houses all the time that I’m not buying. It’s like… every time the press thinks I like a guy they say I am buying a house next to them," she said.

Well, it might not be every boy, but she reportedly did buy a place near ex-boyfriend Conor Kennedy’s family in Hyannis Port, MA. Vanity Fair sourced the Cape Code Times, who confirmed that Swift (or someone from her management company) actually did make this purchase. Though, according to a Hollywood Life source, she made the move because she's obsessed with Conor's grandmother Ethel Kennedy. Sure, that makes it less weird.
