There's nothing like being honored with a humanitarian award by your ex-boyfriend's dad.
Taylor Swift amicably ended things with her summer fling, 18-year-old Conor Kennedy, in October, but the singer was reunited with his father Robert F. Kennedy Jr. while being presented with the Ripple of Hope Award from the RFK Center for Justice & Human Rights at a gala last night (Dec. 3) in New York City.
The Ripple of Hope Award goes to leaders in activism, business and entertainment who demonstrate a commitment to social change. (Sounds like Swifty).
With BFF Dianna Agron by her side, Swift accepted the honor in front of members of of the Kennedy clan, including RFK Jr.'s sisters Kerry and Rory Kennedy and Ted Kennedy Jr., at the Marriott Marquis. Thankfully, Conor was not in attendance, although reports were swirling that he would be there to support his former flame.
Also walking the red carpet last night were Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria, Melanie Griffith, Jerry Springer, Trevor Donovan, Antonio Sabato Jr. and RFK Jr.'s girlfriend, Cheryl Hines.
Swift did not bring her rumored-to-be new beau Harry Styles, as he was busy performing for thousands of screaming girls at the One Direction concert in Madison Square Garden.
