Between inviting him to tour with her, making him homemade jam and convincing him to move to Nashville, Taylor Swift seems to be (platonically) smitten with her friend and fellow singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.
And the feeling seems to be mutual. Sheeran recently defended Swift after she dealt with major VMA drama. He's also apparently one of her trusted confidants when it comes to matters of the heart, which Swift revealed in a recent interview with InStyle magazine.
[Ed] says there are different kinds of love: There’s physical attraction, mental attraction, and emotional attraction; there’s also comfort and obsession. You need to have all of those things in one person. You have to mentally respect them, be physically attracted, and have a comfort level. You’re obsessed with them, yet you also know they’re going to stay. I’ve never had that in one person.
Swift said that Ed's take on love "really resonated" with her, and it's not hard to see why.
In more adorable celebrity friendship news, last week Ariana Grande shared a heartfelt message she received from her "Sam & Cat" co-star Jennette McCurdy. The note came in the aftermath of Ariana's rough, public breakup with Jai Brooks.
"Ariana is savvy. Ariana is loving, but Ariana is surround by those who falsely love. Ariana is still loving. Ariana is beautiful," McCurdy wrote.
