Frank Gregg travels a lot -- he's been on 12 tours overseas as a member of the US Army's 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. So his sons should be used to daddy's surprise trips home, right?
Wrong.
In the video above, Greggs' older son, 6-year-old Teagan is unexpectedly -- and adorably -- overcome by tears when he hears of his dad's return home from Afghanistan.
Tommy Dabbs, Gregg's brother-in-law, was there to capture the moment on film. "We were expecting him just to be jumping up and down and kind of happy," he told ABC, "and all of a sudden that emotion just came out."
For Teagan's parents, who say he's not normally an emotional child, the boy's tears spoke volumes.
"It was just gut-wrenching," mom Dinah Rhea-Gregg told ABC. "For [my husband] it shows how much he loves him; it meant how much he truly means to him, and it was just so heartwarming."
Although the video was originally meant just for family, it has been viewed over 12,000 times since Dabbs posted it to YouTube in June.
Watch the full reunion above, and try not to cry yourself.
