The First Teaser For HBO's 'Westworld' Looks Freaky Good

"Have you ever questioned the nature of your reality?"

Robots meet Westerns in the first teaser trailer for HBO's new sci-fi series, "Westworld." The network describes the new series, which is from Jonathan Nolan (Chrisopther Nolan's brother) and J.J. Abrams, as a "dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin," which is enough to pique any sci-fi fan's interest.

Inspired by Michael Crichton's 1973 film of the same name, "Westworld" stars Evan Rachel Wood, Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, and more. The teaser gets eerie as it asks, "Have you ever questioned the nature of your reality?" Perhaps we will when "Westworld" premieres in 2016.
