Kids Play Doctor At Hospital's Teddy Bear Clinic, Spread A Serious Case Of Cute

Kids at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health became doctors on Friday to treat Teddy Bear patients who urgently needed their care.

Each child picked out a bear, then diligently examined their stuffed patients by giving them medical tests.

It was a day of fun, but the hospital hopes the exercise will help children understand and cope with their own illnesses.

“Medical play gives kids a chance to master their hospital experience. Allowing them to play with medical equipment familiarizes the experience and gives them healthy coping mechanisms so they won’t be scared when they see a syringe or a CAT scan during treatment,” said Sara Barnett, Child Life manager, in a press release.

We're officially diagnosing these photos, adorable.
