Teen Choice Awards 2012 Red Carpet: See All The Glittery Fashion! (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: All The Red Carpet Glitter From The Teen Choice Awards!

As fans of fun fashion (say that three times fast), we kind of heart the Teen Choice Awards. Gone are the stuffy necklines and boring fine jewelry that usually clutter up the Oscars, or the flowing long gowns of the Golden Globes; the TCA red carpet is usually brimming with sequins, feathered jewelry and adventurous stilettos. In other words, we love it.

Demi Lovato and "Glee" star Kevin McHale hosted the 2012 Teen Choice Awards last night, doling out musical performances and surfboard trophies to "Twilight," One Direction and more things we've realized we're probably already too old to understand.

Fashion-wise, the night was a fun burst of color as stars shimmied into pink frocks and sparkly shoes. Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber walked the red carpet separately, with Gomez clad in a simple bright pink Dsquared² Resort 2013 dress and Bieber dolled up in camo and white. Hayden Panettiere went for full-on sparkle in a head-to-toe sequined dress, while "Call Me Maybe" singer Carly Rae Jepsen channeled the tropics in a Lisa Ho ensemble dotted with palm trees. Taylor Swift, who won five awards, including "Choice Female Artist" and "Choice Country Artist," stuck to her tried-and-true white dress routine in a flowy Maria Lucia Hohan, and similarly, Zooey Deschanel kept it girly in a blue Monique Lhullier.

Lea Michele was also one of our standouts in a short Atelier Versace frock and low-key makeup. But the sartorial highlight (or lowlight) of the night was Demi Lovato, whose Falguni & Shane Peacock dress was a bright mishmash of feathers, bright colors, Gucci-esque geometry and dare we say it: sideboob.
