"Teen Mom" star Maci Bookout called it quits with both professional racer Kyle Regal and on again, off again beau Kyle King earlier this year. But rather than seeking a third Kyle with a royal-sounding last name, Bookout says she's doing just fine on her own.
"I've been single for four or five months -- happily. It's awesome," she recently told Us Weekly. "[I love] not having to be anyone's mom but Bentley's," she said, referring to her 4-year-old son.
But it seems that Bookout, 21, is now being pursued by none other than Bentley's baby daddy, Ryan Edwards. Maci and Ryan have shared custody of Bentley since his birth in 2008. In fact, Ryan tried to charm Maci with a sweeping romantic gesture: proposing on Twitter.
When Maci questioned the tweet's authenticity, Ryan assured her that the message indeed came from him.
And when she still appeared confused, Ryan confirmed the sentiment.
As Maci's response was "twitter is not the place. ima kill u," we don't anticipate hearing wedding bells anytime soon.
Bookout opened up about her breakup with Edwards to MTV in 2010. "As for my relationship with Ryan ... he and I had gone through so much, but we weren't making it," she said. "I eventually realized that he wasn't going to be my life partner -- things just weren't the way they should have been. I knew we would always have to be parents together, but there was no way for us to live our lives together."
