Teepee Fashion Show Staged In Australia Stars Georgia May Jagger (PHOTOS)

The sun never sets on Fashion Week.

Milan, Paris, New York and London may be over, but Australia is right in the midst of its Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Week. The big designer to show on Tuesday in Sydney was Camilla Franks, whose line Camilla was modeled by none other than Georgia May Jagger (you might have heard of her father).

Jagger may be the spawn of British rock royalty, but the Camilla show felt more hippie than rock 'n roll. The name of the collection was Pachamama, a reference to the "Earth goddess" or "Earth mother" traditionally associated with Andean indigenous groups. Hence the Peruvian inspirations (not Native American, as some outlets have reported), including bright prints, flowing fabrics, Peruvian pipers... and teepees.

There were several teepees erected for showgoers to sit in, with the models weaving in and out of the various huts. It was an unconventional set-up, requiring the models to navigate beyond a straight catwalk. But it was also peculiar seeing as, well, there weren't that many Peruvian Andes dwellers in the audience.

Does a fashion show with an ethnic theme rub you the wrong way?
