'Real Housewives Of New Jersey': Teresa Giudice, Caroline Manzo Set For Explosive Reunion

The Gloves Are Off

The gloves came off Sunday night on the season finale of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," and don't expect the drama to stop anytime soon. With two reunion shows and another complete season already recorded, we haven't seen the last of the war between the Jersey ladies.

While co-hosting an episode of "New York Live," Caroline Manzo was the picture of class, not letting any of her co-stars' attacks ruffle her feathers. So which housewife has been throwing disses Manzo's way as of late? Teresa Giudice's latest venture, a cookbook entitled "Fabulicious: Teresa's Italian Family Cookbook," slapped Manzo with an accusation that she is only "as Italian as the Olive Garden."

But her comment apparently did not come without merit.

"I remember when I was writing my very first book proposal, Caroline was also trying to sell her own cookbook," Giudice wrote on her website. "Caroline told me I was doing it wrong, that I wasn't smart enough, that I didn't have the right agent, the right co-writer, the right anything. I took her criticism like I always do, with a smile, and did what I wanted to anyway. And my book got picked up. Caroline's didn't. Not one publisher wanted it. I don't know why. I wish everyone success in all they do, but I can't help it if hers didn't get published."

Although Giudice's book failed to knock Manzo down, no holds were barred over Giudice's shot at Manzo's son, Christopher.

"Say anything you want about me, but the kids are off-limits," momma bear Manzo made clear, insisting that a lot of truths about Giudice will come out over the next few weeks.

"At the reunion, Caroline points out some harsh truths about Teresa's behavior, and Teresa fought back, calling Caroline a hypocrite, accusing her of giving advice all season on how to be a good sibling, while saying that Caroline doesn't speak to half of her siblings," an insider tells me. "That's when Caroline lost it and, for the first time ever, told Teresa exactly what she thought of her."

So what exactly were Manzo's fighting words? "I'd rather be my kind of Italian than her kind of Italian."

The reunion airs next Sunday on Bravo. But be warned, it's ugly in Jersey!
