Terrell Owens On Return Timetable: 'A Month Or Less, I Give You That' (VIDEO)

T.O. Sets Timetable For Return

Through the first four weeks of the 2011 NFL season, we've seen two overtime games, historic performances, epic collapses, brutal injuries, fake injuries, bold predictions and some dramatic finishes. But something has been missing. There hasn't been any T.O. drama.

Terrell Owens, who is recovering from offseason surgery on his left knee, told ESPN's Stephen A. Smith on Wednesday that he will play this year. The 37-year-old who is tied for a second place on the career receiving touchdowns list said he's at 75 percent right now and then set a timetable for his return.

"I'm going to be ready soon," he said, sitting next to family members. When asked what "soon" means, Owens replied, "A month or less, I give you that."

In June, Owens' agent Drew Rosenhaus confirmed that the 15-year veteran had surgery on a torn ACL back in April. Owens confirmed to Smith that he did in fact go to South Korea for stem-cell therapy on his surgically repaired knee.

Owens recorded 983 yards and nine touchdowns in 2010 with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Whether a team will sign him in the middle of the season remains to be seen.
