Terrell Suggs Calls Skip Bayless A 'Douchebag' On ESPN's First Take (VIDEO)

Ravens Star Slams ESPN Analyst On Air

Tell him how you really feel, Terrell.

During an episode of ESPN's "First Take" on Monday morning, Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs was on the phone speaking with host Skip Bayless about his team's loss to New England in the AFC Championship Game. As is often the case in a conversation involving either Suggs or Bayless, things got a little bit heated. Bayless suggested that Suggs was trying to conjure up excuses for the loss -- such as the confusion on the scoreboard over down and distance late in the game -- which rubbed the Pro Bowl linebacker the wrong way. Bayless seemed to be pushing Suggs toward claiming that the Patriots had intentionally misled them. Suggs was not interested in being drawn into such a claim.

"No. I'm not saying that. Skip, stop that -- I know what you're doing," Suggs said calmly, to which Bayless shot back that he was only repeating what he thought the linebacker had said (which was clearly far from the truth). Suggs then continued after explaining what he meant. "So Skip, once again, stop it. Be an analyst. Don't be a douchebag. You know what I mean."

Bayless recoiled at the insult and told Suggs to watch his language. Should Suggs apologize for the comment, or do you think the traditionally outspoken Bayless got what he deserved?

This certainly isn't the first time Bayless has gotten under an athlete's skin, with Charles Barkley recently going so far as claiming he hates him "more than any person in the world."

The exchange added another chapter to what has been a ongoing feud between Bayless and Suggs, which included the analyst calling out the Ravens' star live on air before debating him on the show the next day.
