Texas Case Angers Foes of Gay Divorce

DALLAS (The Borowitz Report) - A Texas judge's ruling that two gay men married in another state can get a divorce in Texas has drawn the ire of opponents of gay divorce here.

Carol Foyler, executive director of Texans Against Gay Divorce, a powerful political action committee in the state, says that the judge's ruling "is a direct attack on the sanctity of divorce."

"All you have to do is read the Bible," Ms. Foyler said. "God clearly defines divorce as the disunion between a man and a woman."

Ms. Foyler said that if gay divorce is allowed to take place in Texas, "what's next - will a man be allowed to divorce his horse?" More here.
