Thanksgiving Recipe: Persimmon Pudding

Thanksgiving Recipe: Persimmon Pudding

My grandmother from Indiana always made this for Thanksgiving; it's rich and delicious. She always served it with Cool Whip, but we use the real stuff.

Ingredients:1 pint persimmon pulp3 eggs1/2 cup butter1 cup sugar2 cups flour3 cups milk1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:Dissolve baking soda in persimmon pulp. Mix in rest of ingredients. Bake for 2 hours in a crock pot at 320 degrees. Stir once or twice while baking. Serve with whipped cream.
