The 'American Horror Story' Season 6 Teasers Just Keep Getting Creepier

WHAT DO THEY ALL MEAN?!

Now that we know the creators of “American Horror Story” are just messing with us, it’s hard to look at the show’s new crop of creepy teasers ― released over the weekend ― and try to make sense of them.

First, there’s the “Wind Chimes” clip, featuring a nurse cutting a chime made of human teeth:

Then there’s this creepy “The Shadow” teaser, which shows a woman walking upstairs as a terrifying shadow with twig-like fingers follows behind and grabs her braid:

The next teaser, “Camp Sight,” brings to mind “The Exorcism of Emily Rose”:

Now there’s the latest teaser, which was released on Monday. The clip, titled “Blind Date,” clearly harks back to the days of classic horror films:

But what do these all mean? There’s a chance one of teasers reflects the theme of “AHS” Season 6, but until the premiere on Sept. 14, we can’t be sure. As FX boss John Landgraf said during the Television Critics Association summer press tour last week, “We just thought it would really be fun to keep it a mystery, so we are.”
